Born and raised in Anderson, SC, Diámini Janaye is a singer-songwriter and pianist who creates various types of contemporary music from Contemporary Christian to Contemporary R&B. Her artistry transcends a one-genre label as it is always based on what is natural to her at the time of creation. Diámini developed a genuine love for songwriting at the age of 6, and has continued creating since then. Over time, she learned that honesty is the biggest asset to her writing. The heart of a song can be felt through the creator if the heart of the creator is put into the process.
Diámini mixes Christian and non-Christian songs on the same projects because authenticity in artistry, no matter how unorthodox, creates room for connection. Her bodies of work tell stories encompassing all emotions from flesh to spirit.
